1. Log In Securely

Access EP Assist through a secure, encrypted connection using your professional email.

Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text.
Two-factor authentication is available for added security.
No pupil data is stored once your session ends.

Control and privacy come first.

2. Choose Your Report Template

Select from a growing library of professionally designed templates, including:

EHCP statutory advice
Consultation reports
Cognition & learning assessments
Observation summaries
Early years reports
Pupil views summaries
Annual review contributions

Templates are aligned with local authority structures and the four areas of need.
You may also upload or work from your own LA template (subscription feature).

3. Input Key Information

Enter the information you already gather as part of your assessment:

Background and family/school context
Assessment results and observational notes
Pupil views and parent/carer views
Strengths and barriers to learning
Desired outcomes and educational priorities

You can type directly, paste from your notes, or import structured text (future feature).

All data is held in encrypted memory and deleted automatically once you leave the session.

EP Assist supports your judgement; it does not override it.

6. Export Your Completed Report

Once you are satisfied with your draft:

Export to Word (.docx) or PDF.
Copy directly into your local authority system.
Save securely to your own encrypted device.

EP Assist does not store any report content after export.
